Hello! I’m Dr. Ashley Crawford, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change. I earned my doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and hold a master’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University.

My journey into psychology began in an unexpected place—behind a microphone. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in 2006, I began an exciting career as a television and radio presenter. It was during that time, while co-hosting a radio show with a psychologist, that I discovered my true passion for the field. That experience inspired me to pursue advanced training and dedicate my career to understanding and supporting mental health.

During my doctoral studies, I conducted extensive research on the psychological impact of retirement, developing a validated treatment plan to help reduce depression and suicide risk among NFL athletes with traumatic brain injuries. Alongside my academic work, I remained deeply involved in philanthropic efforts throughout Los Angeles, focusing on organizations that support women and children.

My clinical work is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. I enjoy working with clients from all walks of life and am proud to be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. A pre-doctoral internship at Seattle University Counseling and Psychological Services brought me to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where I happily made my home with my family on Whidbey Island. Since 2015, I have been proudly serving my local community through both private and group practice settings, providing evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
