What Does Counseling Look Like?
In your first few sessions, we will discuss your background, what brings you to therapy, and how you wish to benefit from our work together. Typically, sessions are on a weekly, or bi-weekly basis. I provide a confidential, supportive, genuine, and warm yet challenging space while we collaborate to reach your therapeutic goals and bring a greater sense of peace and balance to your life. I strive to form a strong and trusting relationship with each of my clients, which enables the growth and change you want in your life.
I am a generalist and practice integrated therapy. In my work I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and other treatment modalities in order to provide a tailored approach to care for each client and their individual needs.
